And another episode of "street lamps in the world", this time from Germany. To be precise, in Bonn, Augsburg and Karlsruhe.
street lamps in front of the Bonner Münster on Feb 09, 2011
street lamps in front of the Cathedral of Augsburg on Feb 10, 2011
right in front of the cathedral one sees a black figure group, which is on one (because of the season covered) wells. She looks a little closer this:
are the three local patrons of Augsburg, from left to right, the Holy Simpert (With child and Wolf, as he saved a child from a raging wolf), St. Ulrich (with a cross and on horseback, as he has Augsburg defended against Hungary) and St. Afra (tied to a tree on a burning pile of wood as they are in Augsburg in this or a similar way a martyr died).

If this image does not, I would post also can "street lamps in front of churches' call, but here's nunmal no church it. But pretty much green. In contrast to Augsburg, things look right to spring from.
