The Sherlock Holmes
by Arthur Conan Doyle
What can we say about the plot yet? Sherlock Holmes solves crimes in which the more or less intelligent people of Scotland Yard or the respective village police, nut to crack. Or would a hard nut if they were on. His faithful friend Dr. Watson logs the whole thing and gives it out as a book, then say what caused Holmes to Watson that can happen with his lurid description of the case is not justice; more scientific facts would be more appropriate, and that he is exaggerating anyway. So far, so good.
I have learned that it is mainly just a few short stories and novels. I have also learned that the so-called nemesis Dr.Moriatry only in a novel and a short story by truly distinct mention and never occurs. And that I Watsons "sensational" spelling of the times of Holmes prefer, if only because of the constantly says "Watson had now had the opportunity ...". Really bad I find a story, both considered in the third person. But may also be that this is only because the issue in quite far back and I will therefore used to the narrator was Watson.
I like the setting. I like the two main characters and I like their relationship. I like the Victorian atmosphere, in the most plays. It has me confused is that the output is not written chronologically content, even if one never said that it is. It contains many things of which we know by today's standards, that they are scientifically incorrect, or simply can not be, and Holmes does some things that a more or less normal people should be impossible (unless people back then were something like and we have just forgotten). But you must then simply in the context of the time . See ;)
I like the core of the stories, the scientific analysis of trace and the logical conclusions to be drawn from it and lead to a chain of evidence. It is well made, because it does not matter if other things would have been just as logical. We must engage itself on it, which is on every book Sun I find it interesting
the constant references by the appearance of a person on their character, but that leads to all cases in significant physical descriptions, and that's what for themselves, especially when joining as for what the case solution. Also, the local color factor is high, which is for me because I like London very important.
It is calm written so darkly, it is also sometimes told to rest and read fluently. Some things to be said very often, but I think the reason is that Arthur Conan Doyle wrote it in installments, so you have to repeat some of the descriptions just now and then. If I had not read everything now back to back, it would probably not have noticed me.
Although the private pages of the two main characters almost nothing is learned, it is possible but very quickly build up a clear picture of them, and believe that we know far more about them than is actually the case. Even if they remain in hints, you think you see behind it - Great example of good character guide.
I think I will buy.
