Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ( part) one
alias "Potter 7.1."
Caveat: I did not like the book. I found it too long, too superficial, too little tight and at the end of sensationalism. In some places simply unkind. But enough of that
The film is based on the book and what it can do nothing that can not afford the book. Some films succeed in spite of a bad book, a good movie to be, but when Potter is not possible. Because it would disappoint millions of fans when the book and movie have nothing in common - or almost nothing.
given here is no danger, for Potter 7.1 is absolutely true factory. Of course, things have to be reduced or eliminated, as well as half a book does not fit completely into a 130-minute movie. Of course, omitting fall and rightly emphasize logic holes still more than in the book, or gape at new ones. But what they do, they make parts, and the length of the ridiculous traveling circus and the episodic remains. Content of the film the book is absolutely fair and appropriate duster as it is.
Optical remain as always with Potter nothing to be desired, their scenes are fantastic, detailed and full of atmosphere, whether we are dealing at Godrics Hollow, the Ministry or Malfoy Manor. The magnificent English countryside does the rest - they need only cut along the recording environment and have the perfect commercial for tourism in Britain. I just hope that it was actually the Forest of Dean Forest of Dean. ;) And even if it was dark in Dorest mostly ... The landscape at Abbotsbury is beautiful! Honest!
It does almost with every character that has appeared in recent years and should play, even Bill Weasley, the last film so it was not seen. His facial scars are similar to those of Lupin so appropriate that I wonder if they do not but could have arisen by chance during a full moon, and are even sharper and more distinct wesendlich, but they're also fresher. Neville also occurs and may say a sentence that is as senseless as the scene where he falls. And for the fact that Dumbledore is dead, he is seen quite often and has apparently well kept. ;)
who lost in the amount of characters must stop living with it - that there is no chance to follow the plot, if you do not know what's at stake, is on Potter's nothing new. At least since film 5 should have read the books to come along.
For me, the only truly powerful scene in this part of the book, Ron's return, and just have it completely messed up and put their special effects on the real message and the emotion of the scene. Not to forget the context, a few facts and statements related to, that I wonder now, where they herhaben. Certainly not from Volume 7 My
Problems with the scene the way, stir not from the acting performance of her protagonists, but simply in the way it is written and directed. Both Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe make her an excellent job - have ever at their main role Trio for Film 1 to suspend only that Emma Watson just too pretty for Hermione and all the arts of modern make-up and special effects world, it probably does not simply add get seem that it has Harry Potter black hair, at least a tiny bit tousled look. Is comforting to know that there are things that simply are not schaffbar, not even with the best CGI and millions of dollars for one could spend hair spray, right? ;)
On the whole, so it's a well-made film, suffers from the fact that he is not better than his book. Solid work on the basis of what is possible, so to speak.
Did I mention their great scenes?
