How To Sell Old Receiver Yamaha

Enchanted Glass

by Diana Wynne Jones

Andrew by his grandfather house and property. Also he inherits his employees, the resolute Mrs. stick as a housekeeper and vegetables from his almost obsessive Mr. Stock as a gardener - say half the local stock, so is it any wonder that the two are not married. Andrew also inherits also a duty, but what exactly he has long forgotten, and he will now first rather write a book.
Then there is Aidan, the way boys, who know far more than it seems, other villagers and the strange Mr. Brown. And of course the eponymous enraptured glass. Incidentally, this is not a drinking glass. ;)

Diana Wynne Jones plays her strength once again full of - great characters, quirky Chara Katere, characters that are not what they appear to be, and often even do not know even a few fun surprises, fun details and great ideas . I really hope that there is a sequel, and not just because I like Andrew so - but because I want a different conclusion. For so great the book is, it suffers in the end. He's fast, exciting, funny, everything what you expect from a book by Diana Wynne Jones, but then remained at the end for me but the question of the meaning behind it all. What underlies all this, what is the Risk, what are the consequences? What's the point? The answer to this question owes us Diana Wynne Jones, and that's totally not her style.
I still hope so.
